What’s the Real Unemployment Rate? Try 15.6%.

The real national unemployment rate is far worse than the U.S. Department of Labor’s March figure, announced today, shows. That’s because the official rate doesn’t include the 3.7 million-plus people who are reluctantly working only part time because of the poor labor market. And it doesn’t include the workers who have given up scouring want ads for seemingly nonexistent jobs.

When those folks are added to the numbers, the unemployment rate rises to 15.6%. In March 2008, that number was 9.3%.

Hubble Finds Unidentified Object in Space, Scientists Puzzled

This is exactly why we send astronauts to risk their life to service Hubble: in a paper published last week in the Astrophysical Journal, scientists detail the discovery of a new unidentified object in the middle of nowhere. I don’t know about you, but when a research paper conclusion says “We suggest that the transient may be one of a new class” I get a chill of oooh-aaahness down my spine. Especially when after a hundred days of observation, it disappeared from the sky with no explanation. Get your tinfoil hats out, because it gets even weirder.

All was quiet on the comms as i snuck around the corner with the bomb, i planted, hid out, and won the match. But what was missing? I had this sinking feeling in my gut that something was off. I call on the mic for a status report General Olbaid “reports all is clear and there is no present danger in his sector.”  strange i thought.. Something was up, i ask others in the squad and all reports come in without any issues. But i know that these men are trained to make split decisions, nothing is supposed to phase them.  there trained to survive, on instinct alone.

After a few more matches, and i hadn’t got knifed in the back i knew.  OJ, was missing.Oj jas been a member of the 10100 squad for a long time so i sent out a recon request to GD and HempKnight some of my best reconnaissance assassins and received a report that he was captured. Stuck in that place we like to call RL (Real Life). His computer had died so I immediately sprung into action. Specing him out a new computer. The stats are as follows.

We discussed his needs, and this is what we came up with. His requirements were simple make it fast, and make it reliable. We based all these choices on those requirements, and added a pretty nice lian li case, and a 8800GTS to throw down his game at full rez on that 24inch monitor.  I know what he was using before and it wasnt pretty. This totally blows that shit out of the water, and i hope he likes it. My man has no need for over clocking so standard cooling will be utilized. The case has 2x 120′s and 1x80mm fans so it should be pretty quiet and cool.
