EDIT: The CoD: WaW beta is LIVE.

Just a heads up to anyone interested in the upcoming Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: World at War (retail Nov. 11th). The PC beta is coming very soon apparently; and it’s not a limited beta either. Anyone who wants to get into the beta can. All you need to do is simply register (if you haven’t already) at CallofDuty.com and you will get your key e-mailed to you as soon as it’s available. FilePlanet subscribers may pre-load it now as well. I have, so as soon as the key is e-mailed to me, I’m ready to go! FilePlanet says the estimated date available is the 28th of Oct.

There will be dedicated server files available for the beta as well, however it’s just Windows files. Linux server files will be released with the retail game. Don’t know if we have a server available to set it up on, but I doubt we have Windows on it. But just a heads up if anyone does have a server. Hell, I can probably set a server up at the college if we wanted to. I could bring in an old PC of mine and set it up. Doubt they would care since we have about 10 servers setup in my teachers room.

I’ve been playing the beta on the 360 for a few weeks now, and it’s fun; It’s basically CoD4 in WW2. Seems like 90% of CoD4 was pasted over into WaW.

So go register and I’ll see you on the battlefield!
